The procurement function is rapidly growing in importance within Heineken. In the past, Heineken with its global strong branding and exceptional Sales force did not really need Procurement. Now, Procurement does really make a difference. Alexander Arsath Ro’is, CPO from Heineken The Netherlands before joining NEVI Purspective (the Dutch equivalent from NIMA), will explain how this silent revolution evolved in something unstoppable. He will give special attention on how he aligned with Heineken’s Boardroom and Business objectives”

Mr. Alexander Arsath Ro’is M.Sc. studied Architecture and Town at the University in Delft, The Netherlands. After graduation, he quickly got a procurement job within an engineering firm. Now at 47, he has been working within procurement for the last 20 years. He worked for companies like Dutch Railways and Heineken, but also within consultancy firms. Since January 1, 2011 he is Managing Director from Purspective. Purspective is a global company giving procurement trainings to national and international companies (like Heineken, DSM, Philips, APP Moller Maersk, etc.)
